glad to be back. back in auburn, back with the girls, back with the sisters, back with friends!

recruitment this week and we'll get all the noobs by saturday and the year will be off and kicking.

the freshman fifteen

my freshman year ended today, may 11, at approximately12:50pm when i walked out of my public speaking. it seems weird that its gone so fast.
i'm pretty sure i just moved all my stuff into my dorm two days ago and now here i am dragging box after box after box out. (and i thought i had a lot of stuff when i moved in, but moving out...how did i accumulate that much crap?! and i even threw out like 18-hundred bags of garbage)

but the freshman fifteen, everyone knows what it is. but we all think of it as sort of a myth.
i can tell you that the freshman fifteen doesn't exist.

its more like the freshman fifteen-HUNDRED! ugh all the greasy food, and all the not exercise-ness.

but! it's my goal, this summer! lose the fifteen-hundred pounds. get back to pre-college. i can do it.

his stuff

so you and you ex have broken up. and it's been about 10 months since the break up.

fastforward to the end of a fabulous freshman year. you talk to that ex maybe once every three weeks if that. but you don't even notice it unless you happen to see him pop up in that facebook newsfeed and think "when was the last time i talked to thak goof" then move on to something new.

but it's the end of the year and your packing the room, you find the box reminisce.

now! what to do. in that box is just like letters and pictures, things of that nature. as well as, lets just say, a "baseball" jersey that was his form when he was younger and you would wear to his games as you cheered him on. now when you were dating, yah it was super special, and when you first broke up, he wanted you to keep it and you did esp. for sentimental reasons. but now...it's 10 or more months later..and you don't have any reason to keep it, sure your friends but not that close anymore. it's his from little leagues, so you'd think he'd want it back for his own memories so you tell him your going to mail it to him...

his response...."that's mean"

what? i'm mean? i'm sorry you confuse me.
